The MPW line of circuit breakers is a compact state-of-the-art solution for starting and protecting electric motors in low voltage. With a modern design and featuring the most advanced technologies, the MPW line of motor circuit breakers helps optimize space on electrical panels and can be used in most applications for starting and protecting motors. By means of its high capacity of interrupting short-circuit currents (up to 100 kA @ 415 V), the MPW motor circuit breakers ensure full protection of the installation (electrical circuit and motor) with a thermal trigger (adjustable for overload protection and equipped with phase-loss sensitive differential mechanism) and a magnetic trigger (set for protection against short-circuits). The motor circuit breakers are available in versions with drive by buttons (MPW16) or rotary drive (MPW25/65/100) allowing visualization of the circuit breaker status (ON or Tripped), besides having a full line of accessories for different applications.

The MPW line of WEG motor circuit breakers was designed and developed according to IEC and UL standards and bears certifications such as CE, cULus, IRAM, NOMANCE, PCT, BV, among others. They can be used worldwide and in a wide range of applications in different industries, such as Sugar and Alcohol, Water and Sanitation, Steel, Mining, Pulp & Paper, Chemical and Petrochemical, Oil and Gas, Wind Generation, PV Parks, Maritime Industry, meeting the starting and protection requirements of three-phase or single-phase electric motors in low voltage, disconnection and general protection of electrical circuits in AC and DC applications or transformer protection.
